ROLE OVERVIEW (Shared Core)

TechbBuddy is looking for a Design DevOps freelancer to own the systems, workflows, and infrastructure that support our design and web operations.

This role sits at the intersection of design execution, technical operations, and process reliability. You’ll be responsible for making sure our design systems, tools, and environments are fast, stable, documented, and scalable.

This is a hands-on operator role—not managerial, not theoretical.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and maintain design + web operational infrastructure
• Manage tooling, workflows, and handoffs between design and dev
• Maintain design systems, asset organization, and version control
• Support deployments, staging/production workflows, and QA processes
• Improve reliability, performance, and repeatability of design operations
• Document SOPs and follow them precisely
• Troubleshoot issues calmly and methodically when things break
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Experience working in design-heavy or web-based environments
• Strong operational mindset (systems > chaos)
• Comfortable with tools like Figma, Webflow/WordPress, GitHub, Notion, etc.
• Familiar with staging/production workflows and change management
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and low-ego
• Comfortable working asynchronously and following SOPs
• Freelance/contract availability

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
