Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an IT SOX Consultant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $70.00 to $100.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct IT SOX testing, including general IT controls and application-level assessments.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure audit readiness and smooth execution.

• Utilize systems such as Yardi or MRI to document and evaluate control effectiveness.

• Supervise and guide junior staff involved in audit support and testing activities.

• Present audit findings and recommended remediation strategies to senior leadership.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Extensive hands-on experience with IT SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.

• Familiarity with MRI or similar financial systems used in control testing.

• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and oversee audit-related projects.

• Prior experience working directly with external auditors and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Professional certification such as CPA, CISA, or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of IT control environments and regulatory compliance standards.

• Excellent communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating across departments.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

• Skilled in identifying control gaps and proposing effective solutions.
