POSITION TITLE: Senior Product Manager

REPORTS TO: Chief Product Officer

Inovonics’ sells hardware components to dealers, distributors, and value-added resellers and provides SaaS solutions. Inovonics will continue to develop complete customer solutions with hardware, software, and attached services.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is driven towards building groundbreaking products that customers love. As a product manager focused on SaaS (Software as a Service) products, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our innovative systems and API (Application Program Interface) platform in an Agile environment. You will work with customers and internal experts to help define our product direction and software roadmap. Your input will be critical to the definition, design, and delivery of new SaaS-based features and microservices. You will collaborate with product designers and engineers to scope and deliver intuitive, elegant, and functional new features to our customers.

Key DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Understand the cloud ecosystem, markets, competition, and user requirements in depth to drive recurring revenue.

· Understand the market needs, deeply identify with customers, and define the end-user experience for high-profile partner integrations

· Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate innovative ideas that expand market share, improve customer experience and drive growth

· Drive product requirements definition, product planning, and product design (including writing detailed market and product requirements) of new features and enhancements and design for Inovonics cloud integrations and solutions

· Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners

· Develop product pricing and positioning strategies

· End-to-end product lifecycle management from concept to launch and beyond

· Develop mockups and prototypes for user testing, write up product feature specifications to handoff to engineering for execution

· Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members

· Work side-by-side with development and project management teams to drive sprint planning, story prioritization and to manage the product backlog

· Work collaboratively with Engineering, Marketing, Legal, UX, and other cross-functional teams on cutting edge technologies.

· Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services

· Establish and analyze product metrics and integrate research, usability studies, and market analysis into product requirements to improve the overall user experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Proven record of accomplishment of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

· 5+ years’ experience as a Product Manager, particularly in

· SaaS applications, API platforms, analytics, data science, or developer tools

· Experience creating strategic product roadmaps for enterprise SaaS products

· Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management

· Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions

EDUCATIONAL/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

· MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred

· Experience delivering software products and services in a high growth environment

· Experience in consumer electronics, Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, AI/ML

· Experience in one or more of the following: Software as a service, E-commerce, Marketplace, Reseller platforms, or subscription billing.

· Knowledge of multiple functional areas (e.g., Product Management, Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing).

· Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

· Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

COMPENSATION:

$135K - $155k
