Job description
Overview
Seeking a hands-on IT Systems Engineering Specialist to build, configure, and support Windows Server environments. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage servers from installation through production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and support Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025)
- Perform OS hardening, patching, and system configuration
- Troubleshoot issues using Windows Event Viewer
- Monitor system performance (CPU, memory, disk, network)
- Manage incidents end-to-end
- Support Active Directory integrations
- Provide remote access support (VPN, Citrix, Terminal Services, Hyper-V)
- Maintain system documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years of Windows Systems Administration experience
- Strong troubleshooting and monitoring experience
- Knowledge of Active Directory and networking fundamentals
- Experience with system monitoring and alerting tools
Nice to Have
- Azure or cloud experience
- Virtualization or containerization experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
Pay: $40.85 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Work Location: Remote
