Part-Time IT Systems & Database Specialist

(Power BI, Power Apps & Microsoft Admin)

Schedule: Part-Time or Contract Basics, starting $35.00 per hour, 10–20 hours/week, Flexible

HUMBOLDT LLC is seeking an experienced IT Systems & Database Specialist with strong expertise in Power BI, Power Apps, and the Microsoft admin platform (including Intune) to manage, optimize, and support our IT infrastructure and business applications. This part-time role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to contribute to critical data visualization and application solutions in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

· Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports

· Build and support Power Apps solutions to streamline business processes

· Manage and secure IT systems, including the Microsoft 365 admin platform and Intune device management

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power BI, Power Apps, and Microsoft admin tools

· Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and system performance across applications and databases

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective BI and application solutions

· Maintain technical documentation for Power BI, Power Apps, and IT systems

Requirements

· Proven experience with Power BI and Power Apps development and administration

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 admin center, including Intune for device management

· Experience with database management (SQL, Oracle, or similar) and IT systems administration

· Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and Microsoft security best practices

· Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams

· Relevant, verifiable experience in Power Platform and Microsoft admin environments
