Thomas Solutions Incorporated is dedicated to providing support to the Special Operations Mission Training Center (SOMTC) and their mission to conducts individual and collective training for the USASOC operating and generating force to prepare Special Operations Forces (SOF) to successfully operate across the full spectrum of operations.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT) Manager who meets or exceeds all qualifications.

Pending Solicitation/ Future Opportunity:

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field or
• An Associate degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field with Ten (10) years’ IT Lead experience.

Qualifications Requirement:

• Current certification that meets the requirement for the DCWF Information Systems Security Manager (722) (Intermediate or Advanced proficiency level), such as CISSP or CISM. Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the following areas (as evidenced by experience or training):

Cybersecurity principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST RMF).

National and international cybersecurity laws, regulations, and standards.

Network Security architecture and technologies.

Vulnerability management and penetration testing methodologies.

Security assessment and authorization processes.

Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

DoD cybersecurity policies and guidance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Developing and maintaining the organization's cybersecurity program.

Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.

Overseeing the implementation of security controls.

Monitoring security systems and responding to security incidents.

Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Providing security guidance and training to personnel.

Managing security-related projects and initiatives.

Collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure the security of information systems and data.

Experience:

• Four (4) years' experience in a supervisory role managing technical teams responsible for military information systems.
• Program management, including task delegation, performance tracking, and personnel development.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of complex datacenter environments, including server virtualization, network infrastructure, and storage.

Clearance Requirement:

• Active Secret clearance.

Information Technology Tasks:

• IT Lead shall manage the overall work efforts of the IT Operations Branch and sections, serving as the single point of contact for all IT support activities.
• Provide documentation for review to the Government ISSM for all matters related to the Enclave's Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Other tasks as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $130,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
