Join our team at Hamister Group! We are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented IT Systems Administrator to maintain, upgrade, and support our technology infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain servers, networks, and related systems.
- Ensure security best practices, including user access control, firewalls, and backups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Create and maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff.
- Not a remote position, must be local to Buffalo, NY.
- Prior experience as a Systems Administrator, Desktop Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments.
- Experience with virtualization, cloud services, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery tools.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (Network+, Security+, Microsoft) preferred.
- $65,000-$70,000 (based on experience)
