Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant / Houseman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in laundry operations, particularly in a hotel or hospitality setting, and possess a strong commitment to cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This job also includes assisting with housemen duties which is responsible for helping keep the inside and outside of the property clean.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry items efficiently.
• Inspect linens and garments for stains or damage before processing.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by following proper cleaning protocols.
• Handle dry cleaning processes as required, ensuring that items are treated appropriately.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Skills

• Proven experience in laundry operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment used in commercial laundry settings.
• Knowledge of dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $19.99 - $24.07 per hour
