This is a full time delivery position that requires the following:

- Delivery 6 days per week (We do have a part time option for the right scenario)

- You MUST have an SUV, Van, or Truck to deliver.

Experienced Carriers/Delivery drivers are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Arrive in a timely manner to case and collect mail for daily route
• Load vehicle with mail & parcels to ensure efficient delivery
• Deliver USPS mail & parcels to customer locations in a sufficient time
• Collect outgoing mail and pre-paid shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory of packages and mail
• Scan all Packages before delivering
• Obtain signatures for registered, certified, and insured mail items
• Follow all safety regulations while operating vehicles and loading/unloading packages

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• MUST have a van, SUV, or truck to deliver mail. Minimum 100 Cubic Feet of space required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to load, unload, and handle packages of various sizes and weight
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to learn and memorize different routes

We are not postal employee's but we have to follow the same requirements to be able to enter the office to sort and deliver mail.

The USPS establishes expected timelines for delivery within a route and it is up to you to meet these deadlines. The job can potentially offer more flexibility depending on how efficiently you are able to sort and deliver the mail. Please keep in mind that mail/package quantities vary by day which can lead to longer or possibly shorter work days.
