If you bring deep expertise in Emerson DeltaV, ISA-88 batch processing, and regulated manufacturing environments, this is a career-defining opportunity.
Key Responsibilities

- Architect scalable, class-based DeltaV system designs
- Develop ISA-88 batch sequencing, phase logic, and recipe structures
- Design high-performance HMIs using DeltaV Live and DeltaV Operate (aligned with ISA-101)
- Define system infrastructure (servers, virtualization, cybersecurity, redundancy)
- Design and specify industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, OPC UA)
- Integrate OEM and third-party equipment into DeltaV environments
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and engineering resources
- Ensure compliance with GAMP5, cGMP, and 21 CFR Part 11 standards
- Lead FAT/SAT execution and validation documentation efforts
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across teams
- Travel up to 25% for site support and commissioning activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control Systems, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 8–15+ years of automation engineering experience in Life Sciences
- Extensive hands-on expertise with Emerson DeltaV (architecture, configuration, implementation)
- Strong experience with:
- ISA-88 batch processing
- ISA-101 HMI design principles
- DeltaV Live and DeltaV Operate
- Historian integration and advanced control strategies
- Deep knowledge of cGMP, GAMP5, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
- Experience managing capital automation projects end-to-end
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management capabilities
- Stable career progression within regulated manufacturing environments
Preferred: Experience with Rockwell Automation, Ignition, Siemens PCS7, or other DCS/SCADA platforms.
