We are seeking a hands-on UI/UX Developer to support and advance modern digital workplace initiatives. This role will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to design, build, and support high-visibility digital experiences. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of design thinking and front-end development, with a deep understanding of accessibility and usability best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement user interfaces across web and mobile applications

• Translate UX concepts, wireframes, and mockups into clean, scalable front-end code

• Ensure all user interfaces meet ADA, WCAG, and Section 508 accessibility standards

• Build and maintain reusable UI components and design system assets

• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and architects to define and deliver technical solutions

• Act as a designer-developer hybrid, providing subject matter expertise on UI/UX decisions

• Develop responsive, cross-browser compatible applications using modern front-end frameworks

• Participate in usability testing, user research, and continuous improvement of user experience

• Maintain design documentation, wireframes, and prototypes to support product development

• Stay current on emerging UI/UX trends, frameworks, and tools, and recommend improvements

Technical Environment & Skills

Must Have

• Strong hands-on experience as a UI front-end developer

• Deep understanding of ADA, WCAG, and accessibility compliance standards

• Proven ability to create rich web user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), and REST APIs

• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js

• Strong UI design and usability fundamentals

Nice to Have

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

• Experience with AJAX and API integrations

• Working knowledge of SQL, ESQL, and Java

• Familiarity with CMS platforms such as SharePoint or WordPress

• Experience with digital experience or analytics platforms

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Strong hands-on experience in front-end web development using JavaScript and at least one modern framework (React, Angular, or Vue)

• Experience building accessible, standards-compliant web applications

• Ability to create detailed design solutions based on user needs and business requirements

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile or Scrum environments

• Strong understanding of human-centered design principles, usability, and research methods

• Ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

• UI/UX design or front-end development certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Experience working with digital experience platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager

• Exposure to large enterprise environments
