Robotic / Vision System Integration Engineer - Programmer

Core business divisions include custom machines, equipment re-manufacturing, and total process solutions (including robotic and dedicated automated solutions).

Currently we are seeking to expand our staff and are seeking an experienced Robotic / Vision System Integration Engineer - Programmer.

Job Requirements Include:

• Evaluate customer supplied parts for the feasibility to automate.
• Evaluate customer supplied parts for vision system integration feasibility.
• Select appropriate vision system hardware / software to meet the requirements of the project. The vision system can be used for locating the parts, dimensionally checking the parts, and defect detection.
• Program multi-axis robots and vision systems to meet the overall system requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of Fanuc (or similar) robotics is required.
• In-depth and hands-on integration knowledge with Keyence (or similar) and hardware is required.
• Build mechanical assemblies that include fabricated and purchased parts using assembly drawings provided by engineering
• Communicate with customers and internal team members to ensure all functional requirements are met.
• Work alone or in a group setting to develop equipment designs that exceed customer expectations.
• Must be willing to work overtime when required to meet project deadlines.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites. Travel approximately 20-30%.

Experience Should Include:

• A minimum of 5 years of hand-on robot and vision system integration experience.
• Working knowledge Fanuc, Keyence, and comparable systems.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and internal team members.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Comply with the company safety procedures
• Ensure internal standards are maintained

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
