Job Overview
Tech Perspective is looking for a motivated and curious Data & IT Specialist Apprentice to join our team in Draper, Utah. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone who is eager to learn real-world skills in data engineering, reporting, and IT systems support.
You will be trained directly under a seasoned professional with 25+ years of experience, and you’ll gain hands-on experience working with modern business data platforms like SQL, Domo, and Snowflake, while also supporting IT operations such as server maintenance, software management, and internal technical support.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with technology, and learning new skills quickly.
What You’ll Do
This role is approximately 60% data / 40% IT support.
Data & Analytics Responsibilities (60%)
- Work with SQL queries to support reporting and business insights
- Assist in building dashboards and reporting solutions (Domo, Hubspot)
- Support data workflows and pipelines (Snowflake-style environment)
- Help clean, validate, and organize data for business use
- Learn best practices in modern data engineering and automation
IT & Systems Responsibilities (40%)
- Provide help desk support and troubleshooting for internal users
- Diagnose and repair computer and electronics issues
- Assist with server maintenance and internal system support
- Help manage software installations, updates, and licensing
- Support general office technology and IT operations

Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required
- Must live in Utah
- Must have a valid driver license
- Must be able to interview in person in Draper, Utah
- Must have a reliable vehicle and transportation to work onsite daily
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot computers and electronics
- Must be able to pass a background check
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience with IT support
- Familiarity with SQL, Excel, data tools, or reporting platforms
- Interest in analytics, ai, automation, or data engineering
No professional experience is required — we are willing to train the right person.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $15–$17 per hour
