Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Manager to join our dynamic team. As IT Solution Manager, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical solutions and drive our technology to streamline processes and enhance customer experience. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and lead the implementation of new technologies and processes. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and possess exemplary human-centered skills.
Responsibilities
- Own, improve and manage all business systems in conjunction with supporting corporate functions used within the department to ensure efficient operations and continued development.
- Lead the development and implementation of the company's digital transformation strategy, in alignment with business objectives and priorities.
- Evaluate existing IT systems and processes identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Identify and implement new technologies and systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, including selection, negotiation, and oversight of contracts and agreements.
- Netsuite Administration: Manage and maintain Netsuite ERP system, including user training and management, customization of records, fields, workflows, scripts, data management and integrity, mass updates, reporting and analytics with creation of reports and saved searches, system maintenance, release preview accounts for testing and validation and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in the design, development, and implementation of digital solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and requirements, including the implementation of MRP system.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Executive Team to develop and then drive a business IT strategy that includes process improvement across all areas of the organization.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies and make recommendations for new technologies and strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT project management with a strong understanding of WAN technologies.
- Familiarity with IT governance practices and frameworks.
- Proficiency in using Solarwinds, Jira, and ServiceNow for project management and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience supervising teams in a technical environment.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with AWS services is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with diverse teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, engineering, or relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in IT roles, with a focus on digital transformation and innovation.
- Manufacturing/production and distributor experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies and trends, including cloud computing, virtualization, data analytics and artificial intelligence.
- Proven track record of leading successful digital transformation initiatives, from development to implementation
- Experience with IT systems, technologies, and tools, including but not limited to NetSuite Administration with specific experience in RF-Smart, Avalara, SuiteCommerce Advanced, Microsoft Administration, Mitel VoIP systems, networking, SonicWall firewalls, Synology a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical multifaceted co-workers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Work cohesively with Managed Services provider to:
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
- Maintain computer hardware, internal and external, software, peripherals, phones, and printers to ensure functionality.
- Install and configure appropriate software and functionality according to department specifications.
- Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders.
- Maintain CCTV and Card Access Systems
- Administrate M365, including company email via Exchange Online
- Maintain local and remote servers and NAS systems.
- Administrate Mitel VoIP phones and servers.
- Additional Advantageous Certifications: Netsuite, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional
FLSA Status:
- Exempt
Working conditions:
- Office and manufacturing setting.
Physical requirements:
- Long periods of sitting. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
Travel requirements:
- Minimal – less than 5%

- Support Shipping Department with processing of Sales Orders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $118,000.00 per year
