Altus, located in Atlanta, GA is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join our team!

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications, to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance to ensure the security and integrity of the organization's IT systems.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the organization's IT systems by implementing and managing security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues to minimize downtime and ensure reliable operation.
  • Implement and manage user access controls and permissions to ensure appropriate access to IT resources.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support organizational goals and participate in IT projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation of the IT infrastructure, including network diagrams, server configurations, and system procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Technical certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or similar.
  • Extensive knowledge of server and network administration, including experience with Azure, AWS, Windows Server and Meraki network devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other IT teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
