Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team. The Technical Consultant is responsible for helping customers connect systems and build interfaces using low-code platforms. The perfect candidate will bring 3+ years of experience, a solid grasp of how to bridge the gap between clients and technology, ensuring integrations run smoothly, interfaces are user-friendly, and the products evolve based on real-world use.
Duties
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business needs and technical environments.
- Design and implement integrations using middleware, APIs, and low-code platforms such as Retool.
- Build workflows, data transformations, and custom UI components to meet client requirements.
- Develop lightweight backend logic to extend platform capabilities.
- Ensure solutions are performant, scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Connect applications and data sources through REST APIs, webhooks, and message queues.
- Automate workflows to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
- Implement authentication and authorization patterns (OAuth, SSO, etc.).
- Translate requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Conduct workshops, demos, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide client facing guidance, troubleshooting, and post-deployment support.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to report issues, request enhancements, and share customer feedback.
- Stay current on middleware, low-code, and cloud integration trends to propose innovative solutions.
- Design and execute test cases for integrations, workflows, and UI components.
- Validate reliability and handle edge cases before deployment.
Experience
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with REST APIs, middleware concepts (queues, data mapping, orchestration), and version control (Git).
- Strong communication skills for client-facing work — requirements gathering, technical presentations, and UAT facilitation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
