Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a DevOps Engineer at our Newtown Square, PA location to be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of customer environments in Cloud of respective product lines and to ensure the delivery according to defined Service Level Agreements.
Expectations and Tasks:
Collaborate with engineering and product management as well as other service groups. Improve system landscape support in the assigned functional areas of responsibility. Independent assurance of effective system operations along the software lifecycle. Provide knowledge management in the team and between operations and development. Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in all processes listed in the relevant process map. Contribute to operations model/operational processes and procedures; Perform Project and Program management.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Prior experience, internship, or academic coursework in the each of following is required:

rogramming languages, including Python, JavaScript, and Bash;

ublic cloud architectures and service offerings including AWS;

QL Server;

L/SQL;

nix and Linux based environments;

ersion Control using Git;

I/CD tools;

nalyze data and create data visualizations;

esting web-based applications; and
A
gile methodology.
