Job description
Our client is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator. You will be pivotal in ensuring the dependability, security, and performance of our IT systems infrastructure. Your role will encompass deploying new applications, participation in engineering infrastructure solutions, OS deployments and upgrades, service desk escalations, and Azure cloud support. (NO RELOCATION AVAILABLE)
Responsibilities:
Install new and rebuild existing servers.
Participate in the design, implementation and management of systems automation as required for better efficiency
Collaborate with peers to develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; contribute to and maintain system standards
Perform daily system and security monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs
Provide support to operational and development teams as needed.
Enhance our patching, and package deployment automation
Play a key role in automating our store technology deployments
Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required
Adhere to firm Change Management, Problem Management policies
Collaborate with engineering peers and security teams to develop and deploy system monitoring, change control and infrastructure policies to meet business requirements.
Assist with expanding our Azure Cloud presence
Skills:
4+ Years' experience in IT
Knowledge of identity and access management
Knowledge of scripting languages - Powershell, Python, VBscript
Hands on deployment and maintenance experience of Microsoft server technologies - Failover Cluster, Hyper-V
Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory including GPO, DNS, DHCP
Knowledge of email best practices and administration.
Hands on knowledge of Veeam backup and recovery.
Experience with Packaging applications.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Demonstrable experience as a Senior Systems Administrator or a similar role.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Familiarity with system security norms and best practices.
Exceptional problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities.
Salary: 90k-110k DOE Onsite

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
