Job description
At TrustFunds, we revolutionize the real estate industry by being the first in the nation to offer the ability for earnest money to be paid electronically. Our industry-leading, web-based, mobile-optimized software offers convenience and improves security for MLS’, Brokers, Title Companies, Agents, and Buyers.
The Software Developer will be responsible for development and enhancement of the TrustFunds product. They will work closely with the SVP of Product & Technology to identify projects, develop solutions, and implement stable programming changes. This role also involves troubleshooting, identifying technical issues, and implementing solutions to problems that come through our support team.
The ideal candidate will have proven programming skills and the ability to create reliable solutions and enhancements with limited direction. They will enjoy problem-solving and coming up with effective and creative solutions, and have a drive to continuously improve and enhance the TrustFunds product.
Responsibilities:
- Skilled developer confident in the following languages and environments:
- Front end development in Svelte, with responsive design through Bootstrap
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Modern API-based PHP backend
- Azure delivery using IIS
- Experience working with a CMS
- Diagnose technical issues in support tickets and aid in resolution
- Execute small programming changes independently, and assist in larger development projects
- Identify and prioritize process improvements, and modify software and procedures as needed
Ideal candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven excellence in programming, database administration and querying, and web development
- Understanding of application development best practices and coding conventions
- Familiarity with Git repository, atomic commits, and automated build and deploy pipelines.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Great attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with both internal teams and external clients
- Customer service or technical support experience preferred
- Experience in real estate industry is a bonus
