Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Lead to oversee and manage our organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise across a broad range of IT disciplines, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex projects, ensure system security, and support business continuity through innovative solutions and effective management of IT resources.

Duties

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
• Manage virtualization environments using VMware and vSphere to optimize resource utilization and system performance.
• Oversee network support activities involving Cisco routers, LAN/WAN configurations, network security protocols, firewalls, DHCP, and remote access software.
• Administer databases including Microsoft SQL Server and other database systems; ensure data integrity and security.
• Coordinate IT service management processes utilizing tools like ServiceNow, Jira, SharePoint, SolarWinds, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to minimize downtime during outages or emergencies.
• Supervise technical support teams providing desktop support, server management, system engineering, and network engineering services.
• Manage vendor relationships for hardware/software procurement and maintenance; ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Lead projects related to IT governance, security policies, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements following ITIL best practices.
• Monitor network infrastructure performance; troubleshoot issues related to LAN/WAN connectivity, Active Directory management, IIS hosting environments, and remote access solutions.
• Provide leadership in implementing cybersecurity measures including information security protocols and network security strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT leadership roles with supervisory responsibilities; strong management skills required.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure; virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere.
• Proficiency in operating systems like Windows Server (including Microsoft SQL Server) and Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of network architecture including Cisco routers, LAN/WAN configurations, DHCP, firewall management, VPNs, and network security best practices.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira; familiarity with SolarWinds for network monitoring.
• Knowledge of database management systems; expertise in SQL queries and database administration.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile preferred) and IT governance frameworks (ITIL).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP/VCIX are highly desirable. This position offers a dynamic environment where leadership in technology solutions directly impacts organizational success through innovative infrastructure management and strategic planning.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
