Job description
SUMMARY /GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform additions and changes to network hardware and operating systems, and attached devices; include investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, installation, and testing of new network hardware and software. Provide direct support in the day-to-day operations on network hardware and operating systems, including the evaluation of system utilization, monitoring response time and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems using knowledge of hardware and software installation and maintenance in a PC/LAN_WAN environment. Maintain network infrastructure standards including network communication protocols such as TCP Transport Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
Must possess experience working with the products and systems below:

Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Demonstrate Intermediate-level (e.g., 5 or more years) experience in planning, directing, and managing projects/operations in an organization similar in size to this acquisition;
- Demonstrate intermediate-level experience (e.g., 5 or more years) in environment management and operations;
- Demonstrate intermediate to expert-level experience (e.g., 5 or more years) of industry accepted standards and best practices related to operations and maintenance;
- Demonstrate experience (e.g., 3 or more years) in equipment and logistics management to include tracking, acquisition, configuration, operations, and disposition of hardware and software;
- 5+ or more years IT experience;
- 5 or more years IT experience in Government;
- Shall possess or be capable of maintaining a SECRET security clearance;
Education
- Associate’s Degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent;
- Must possess a technical certification (i.e., A+, MSCA, MCSE, MCSD, or VCP).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
