Gamber-Johnson LLC, an award-winning industry leader in the manufacturing of mobile and proAV mounting solutions trusted to be “Rugged, Reliable, and Responsive,” is looking for a Software Developer (Web focused) to join our Global IT Team.
What You’ll Do:
As a Software Developer with a focus website development, you will work with IT and Marketing to build, optimize, and maintain our websites for six unique brands. You will ensure that our online presence reflects our brand goals while adhering to our security and integration standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Website Development & Maintenance
- Develop, enhance, and maintain websites across multiple brands, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand standards.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure seamless experiences across all devices.
- Write clean, scalable, well-documented code using JavaScript, PHP, HTML5, and CSS3.
Systems Integration
- Work on integrations between web platforms and core business systems, including NetSuite ERP, Salesforce CRM, and Orderful, primarily using Celigo as the integration platform.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure secure and reliable connections between web properties and backend systems.
- Collaboration & Support
- Partner with Marketing to align website content and functionality with campaign goals while adhering to IT’s security standards.
- Coordinate with the Applications & Development Lead to prioritize projects, manage timelines, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure high website performance, reliability, and uptime.
Security & Compliance
- Follow IT department guidelines to maintain security protocols and data protection standards across all web projects.
- Ensure all systems integrations adhere to company security policies and best practices.
Performance Optimization & SEO
- Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and performance across all major browsers and devices.
- Work with Marketing on SEO best practices and implement technical improvements to support discoverability and engagement.
Monitoring & Analytics
- Implement and manage web analytics tools to track, report, and optimize site performance and user engagement.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and other web development frameworks and tools.
- Experience with NetSuite and Celigo for integration, with knowledge of Salesforce a strong plus.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and eCommerce platforms.
- Experience with website analytics tools and SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with API-driven development and cloud-based integration tools.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
- Experience with version control systems.
