We’re hiring a Digital Production Designer for a fully remote, 3-month freelance opportunity—with potential to extend—with a highly regarded outdoor lifestyle and apparel brand.

This role offers the chance to join a dynamic Creative Studio and contribute to a range of digital content for web and e-commerce. You’ll translate approved designs into production-ready assets, support content layout across various platforms, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistency and quality in delivery. Candidates must be located in the PST timezone for this remote opportunity.

Digital Production Designer Responsibilities:

  • Translate approved concept designs and content plans into final digital assets for use across the website (homepage, product pages, landing pages, etc.).

  • Produce, QA, and implement content layouts using pre-established design systems, component libraries, and CMS tools.

  • Partner closely with UX/UI designers, content strategists, developers, and project managers to ensure consistent and efficient production workflows.

  • Solve interaction and layout challenges using existing templates, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and consistency across devices.

  • Adapt and localize web content for different audiences or regions as needed.

  • Maintain content and layout integrity across responsive breakpoints and screen sizes.

  • Conduct light testing or participate in UAT (user acceptance testing) to validate production accuracy before go-live.

  • Organize and maintain design files and asset libraries according to production best practices.

Digital Production Designer Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in digital or production design, ideally for e-commerce or content-rich websites.

  • Proficient in Figma and familiar with CMS tools and component-based design systems.

  • Strong understanding of digital layout principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within established brand and design frameworks.

  • Adept at managing multiple production tasks with quick turnaround times and high accuracy.
