Job description

Your work as the IT Services Lead includes several components:

  • Lead the IT Services team, providing direction across Professional Services, Service Delivery, Automation, Security, and Systems Architecture.
  • Develop and execute IT strategies that support business objectives, ensuring effective systems, processes, and reporting for performance visibility.
  • Manage internal IT infrastructure, ensuring security, compliance, availability, and documentation standards are met.
  • Collaborate with leadership to evaluate, recommend, and implement technology solutions that improve operations and enhance customer outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood, addressed, and met with exceptional service and professionalism.
  • Oversee service delivery processes and act as a key escalation point for complex customer issues, ensuring prompt resolution and high client satisfaction.
  • Lead process from scope to completion with clients on Azure / SharePoint migrations.
  • Support training and professional development initiatives within IT Services, building technical depth and career growth opportunities for team members.
  • Monitor IT operations and service delivery performance, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to companywide EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) initiatives, ensuring departmental accountability and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to optimize service value and efficiency.
  • Lead team development through mentorship, recruitment, evaluations, and succession planning.

Our ideal Director of IT Services has the following qualifications:

  • 3+ years proven leadership experience at a Director or senior management level in IT Services or Managed Services.
  • Strong background in IT operations and infrastructure, including ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise).
  • Experience with Azure and SharePoint environments is required.
  • Background in security and compliance is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute strategies, optimize performance, and improve service delivery.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across leadership, clients, and technical teams.
  • Knowledge of current technology trends, security practices, and IT service management methodologies.
  • Commitment to employee development and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Strong client service orientation with a track record of building lasting relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
