We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect to lead cloud architecture strategies for a healthcare project. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in AWS best practices, including Landing Zones, AWS Control Tower, and Hub-and-Spoke architectures. This client-facing role requires an active contributor who can combine technical expertise with strategic thinking. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset is crucial to anticipate needs and challenge technical decisions effectively.

Requirements

Proven experience as an AWS Architect, able to guide medium- and long-term cloud architecture decisions

Strong knowledge of AWS best practices, especially in Landing Zones, AWS Control Tower, and Hub-and-Spoke architectures

Expertise in CI/CD concepts, particularly using GitLab or Bitbucket

Solid hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

Proficiency with AWS services such as RDS PostgreSQL, ECS, and Lambda.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS cloud architectures

Guide cloud-related decision-making for medium- and long-term projects

Ensure compliance with AWS best practices for security, performance, and reliability

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Bitbucket

Manage infrastructure through Terraform, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, cloud-based solutions

Advise on and execute AWS resource migrations when needed.

Will be a plus

Experience in AWS account-to-account resource migrations

Knowledge of cloud security measures, including WAF, DDoS protection, and AWS security best practices

Familiarity with Java, React, Redshift, and Airflow

Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, able to anticipate needs and challenge technical decisions
