?? The Opportunity

We are partnering with a fast-growing, high-touch IT consulting firm that supports some of the most innovative life sciences organizations, capital management firms, and emerging growth companies in the U.S.

They are hiring a Senior Network Infrastructure Projects Engineer to lead complex, multi-site infrastructure initiatives — including full office buildouts, relocations, modernization efforts, and advanced network deployments.

This is not a support-heavy role.
This is a design + ownership + execution position for an engineer who thrives in both construction environments and executive conversations.

?? What You’ll Own

As a senior technical lead, you will:

• Lead full lifecycle infrastructure projects from design through go-live
• Architect and deploy complete network stacks (switching, firewalls, wireless)
• Oversee MDF/IDF closet design including rack elevations, cooling, and power planning
• Coordinate low-voltage and AV implementation with architects and contractors
• Manage ISP engagements from site survey through circuit activation
• Deploy collaboration technologies (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms)
• Serve as final escalation point for complex network and AV challenges
• Develop post-install documentation and improve internal infrastructure standards

You’ll regularly interface with C-suite stakeholders while remaining hands-on in the rack room.

?? Technical Scope

Network Engineering

• Deep Layer 2/3 expertise (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP)
• Firewall architecture & configuration (Meraki, FortiGate, SonicWall, Ubiquiti)
• Site-to-site and client VPN design
• Wireless predictive modeling and validation (Ekahau or similar)

Construction & Site Management

• Experience collaborating with architects, general contractors, and subcontractors
• Low-voltage coordination and structured cabling oversight
• Office construction or relocation experience required

AV & Collaboration

• Zoom Rooms deployment
• Microsoft Teams Rooms configuration
• Conference room AV integration

Systems & Cloud Exposure

• Windows Server environments
• Microsoft 365 / Entra ID
• Google Workspace
• Cloud file platforms (Egnyte, Box, Dropbox)

• 7+ years of progressive network/infrastructure experience
• Proven experience leading full-stack office buildouts
• Strong documentation discipline and project management habits
• Comfortable presenting technical roadmaps to executive stakeholders
• Ability to mentor junior engineers
• Willingness to travel locally within metro region
