We are actively seeking top quality candidates for a new DevOps - Team Lead position at a fantastic growing Central Florida client. The position is for an immediate start, and is permanent, and fully remote.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES DESIRED:-

• 5+ years as a DevOps team lead, providing both managerial and technical leadership of DevOps engineers. Ability to work the range from high-level strategy to detailed-level work contribution alongside the team. ___________
• 10+ years as a DevOps engineer with a background in professional software development. ___________
• Worked in an environment that had to manage sensitive data (eg healthcare PHI, financial PII) and forge effective DevOps, developer workflows amidst stringent access requirements, in collaboration with Infosec groups. ___________
• Provided thought leadership advancing DevOps initiatives, teaching best practices and cultivating effective automation solutions to enable software build and release processes___________
• Strong experience building containerization solutions specifically for applications and more broadly for CI/CD pipelines___________
• Ability to support on-call escalation and, at times, work a shifted schedule to support West-coast customers___________
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting platform and application issues, root-causing and post-mortems___________
• Flexibility to plan and coordinate both team daily tasking and large-scale DevOps initiatives across teams___________
• Specific experience with the following:
• Building pipelines using one or more CI/CD platforms:
• GitHub, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Jenkins, GitLab, GoCD, Octopus, AWS CodeCommit/CodeDeploy…___________
• Android CI/CD pipelines a plus (Gradle, Maven, …)___________
• Cloud PaaS app hosting environments: Azure App Services, Docker containerization, Kubernetes, …___________
• Source control tools: GitHub Enterprise, Git, ADO, TFS, …___________
• Package management systems: yarn, npm, Nuget Server, GitHub Packages, Azure Artifacts …___________
• IaC tools (eg Terraform) and implementation___________
• Configuration management tools and best practices___________
• Writing automation using modern scripting languages: Powershell, Python, JavaScript, …___________
• Fluency working in Windows environments___________
• Providing visibility into build/release environments through telemetry platforms, reports and alerts___________
• Evolving and evangelizing processes and tools to support applications in production environments___________
• Ability to collaborate exceptionally well with architecture, infrastructure, security and dev teams in Agile processes___________
• Desire to continually improve all things DevOps, collaboratively evolve and align on a strategic vision for high impact___________

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
