Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Great Alaskan Holidays is hiring a full-time Software Developer with experience developing and maintaining full-stack .NET Framework web applications. The position will require duties outside of programming to include additional IT-related tasks.

· The primary duties of the Software Developer will be to maintain and improve the existing custom software used by Great Alaskan Holidays. A broad range of technical skills are requested but not required to fill the position. A must have requirement is advanced knowledge and experience programming for the web in .NET and C# programming language.

· Great Alaskan Holidays has multiple web applications that run and support their RV rental business. The system is proprietary and customized for Great Alaskan Holidays. The systems share a Microsoft SQL Server database on the backend. The web applications are hosted in-house using company owned hardware. The additional duties of the Software Engineer will be to assist in maintaining this hardware (Servers, Workstations, TV Monitors, iPads, Tablets), and make future recommendations for new hardware when needed.

· The Software Developer will work closely with the Marketing department and aid in the ongoing customizations of the public-facing website built with Shopify. Experience with HTML and JavaScript is required.

· The Software Developer position will also be the primary point of contact for other department leaders for making improvements and upgrades to the systems. This position will report directly to the General Manager for guidance on tasks and priorities.

Experience Required:

· 5+ Years of Professional Microsoft .NET Programming in C# using Visual Studio

· 5+ Years of SQL and Database Administration

· 5+ HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

· 2+ Years of Server Administration

· Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills

· Front End HTML Design Experience

. IT Administration experience in a Windows Environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
