We have been supporting the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs about 20 years.

We are actively seeking a Systems Administrator to join our talented, dynamic team in St. Cloud, FL to deliver mission critical infrastructure and ensure the highest level of performance and security to our projects. Must have Linux experience and have worked as a Systems Admin previously.

This position is located at our St. Cloud, FL office -- ONLY Local Applicants should apply

Experience with Okta, Entra ID or Saviynt Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solution Highly Desired but not required.

Must participate in a regular On-Call rotation schedule (every 3 to 4 weeks).

**MUST be able to work on-site in our office in St. Cloud, FL 34769 most weekdays**

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in a technology related discipline; professional certifications are a plus
• 2+ years proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
• Must have server experience with Linux - patching, updates, maintenance
• Detail oriented and organized
• Must participate in "On-Call" rotation for after-hours support
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels in an organization/project; work to resolves issues remotely
• MUST be a U.S. citizen or hold a permanent green card. Must have the ability to gain US Government Clearance (public trust)
• MUST possess a valid Driver's License with dependable transportation
• MUST currently reside local to the Central FL area to work on-site at our office most weekdays; may consider a hybrid schedule for the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance of operating systems and applications.
• Administer system configurations and monitor system health using tools like Splunk.
• Implement and support server environments, including Linux and Windows IIS.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell and Bash scripting.
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in system administration.
