SRI Inc. is seeking an Application Developer who enjoys solving problems, building modern applications, and working closely with teams and clients. This role supports both front-end and back-end development while improving and maintaining their core platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and enhance web, mobile, and desktop applications, leveraging best practices such as error handling, logging, code reuse, and API integration.
• Support full stack development, including frontend UI, backend services, APIs, databases, and ongoing maintenance of existing applications, stack development end UI, backend services, APIs, databases, and ongoing maintenance of existing applications.
• Participate in project and agile development cycles, including change management, system improvements, and coordination of application support.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to understand business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and provide demonstrations or training on new or updated applications.
• Create and maintain documentation (technical, instructional, and reference) while continuing to learn and stay current with emerging technologies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to interact with internal/external stakeholders, document solutions, and present technical concepts clearly.
• Experience working within the SDLC, including testing, validating solutions, basic project management tasks, and exposure to business analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to self-manage, make sound decisions, work accurately and with attention to detail, and analyze and solve problems effectively.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, with 3-5 years of experience and proficiency with tools such as JavaScript, Sequel, JIRA, and Azure. AI experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience, along with relevant functional or technical certifications preferred.

• Ability to sit, stand, and move intermittently throughout the workday, including bending, stretching, and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Strong sensory and motor skills, including good vision, hearing, dexterity, and the ability to speak and listen effectively.
• Capacity to maintain focused, detail-oriented work for extended periods.
