As a Senior Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions to meet their business requirements. You will also be involved in escalation from junior team members and mentoring junior staff.

Technical Skills:

Microsoft

• In-depth understanding of Windows operating systems both desktop and server.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SQL database administration
• Good understanding of Microsoft licencing, compliance, and requirements.

Network

• Solid networking knowledge of routing and switching, ability to perform advanced administration and configuration tasks.
• Advanced knowledge of firewall concepts, products, design, and implementation.
• Solid understanding on networking principles such as TPI/IP, NAT/PAT, DNS, and dynamic routing e.g.

BGP

• Advanced knowledge of VNET Gateways and Express Route.
• Advanced knowledge of site-to-site IPSec VPNs.
• Solid knowledge of ACLs and NSGs.

Azure

• Advanced knowledge with of Azure products like Storage Accounts, VMs, AKS, SQL, Front Door, App Gateway and VNETs.
• Advanced understanding of Azure policies.
• Solid understanding of continuity products and features like ASR, Azure Backup, Soft Delete, Versioning, Replication availability zones, PPGs & availability sets.

Security

• Good understanding of security principles and best practices
• Good knowledge of security vendors and products like Defender, Sentinel, Tenable and Umbrella.

Automation

• Solid PowerShell skills with the ability to write and maintain complex scripts and functions.
• Good understanding of APIs, DevOps platforms and products like ARM, Azure DevOps and Bicep.
• Read and understand JSON.

Linux

• Good understanding of Linux operating systems and administration.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues within a Linux OS or package, install packages and perform OS configuration changes.

Education

• A diploma or degree in IT or industry certifications are required.

Experience

• 5 years in a similar role.
• Experience working in an MSP on multiple clients
• Project design and delivery of cloud solutions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
