Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a IT Sourcing Specialist (Software) for a 4-6 month + Contract. Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

• Reviewing supplier software quotes, renewals, Statements of Work, and Change Orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensuring inclusion of appropriate contract terms, conditions, and references.
• Confirming pricing aligns with contractual rates, entitlements, and negotiated terms.
• Partnering with Legal on low-risk agreements to expedite contract review and approval.
• Leading negotiations on software renewals and tail spend deals to optimize cost savings and commercial terms.
• Escalating material deviations or risks to sourcing leadership as appropriate.
• Filing and maintaining executed agreements and terms within designated contract repositories.
• Supporting sourcing leadership in maintaining contract compliance, risk management, and portfolio visibility.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, or related field.
• Experience reviewing software and professional services contracts.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models and commercial terms (subscription, perpetual, SaaS, user-based).
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to interpret legal language and apply it commercially.
• Skilled negotiator with a proven ability to drive value in smaller-scale or tail spend deals.
• Familiarity with contract management systems and repositories.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders (Legal, Procurement, Operations).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour
