Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to engage with customers and promote our products will be key to enhancing their shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
• Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed.
• Upsell products by understanding customer preferences and recommending suitable items.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor by organizing merchandise and ensuring displays are appealing.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping environment and achieve sales goals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in retail math to assist with pricing and transaction accuracy.
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
• Ability to handle cash responsibly and accurately during transactions.
• Experience in upselling techniques to enhance customer engagement and sales performance.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain stock levels and ensure a tidy work area.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also taking initiative when needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
