Our client is seeking a highly analytical Oracle Cloud specialist to provide customized business intelligence and data management tools using Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud technologies. As the Senior Applications Architect, you will collaborate with multiple project stakeholders to lead the design and deployment of new applications such as Financials, Project Accounting, Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), and Service Modules. Expertise with Oracle PL/SQL and APEX coding is essential to convert spreadsheets into mobile apps and cloud-based solutions.
Our client is a rapidly growing privately held construction and environmental services contractor that has been deeply rooted in water utilities and water distribution throughout the US for over 65 years. This role has a hybrid work schedule that may require occasional travel to other company locations.
Responsibilities include:
- Utilize Oracle Configurator to customize applications for Projects Accounting, Financials, GL, AR, AP, FA, INV, BOM, PO, GRC, OM, Pricing, Service Contracts, and CRM Foundation modules.
- Manage Oracle backend RICE funtions to write queries (SQL, , PL/SQL, Rest API, Unix Scripting, ER Diagrams).
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of enterprise applications aligned with business strategies.
- Conduct code reviews, resolve complex technical issues, and enforce documentation and compliance.
- Develop and customize applications, including Oracle Financials, Oracle CPQ, Sales Cloud, Core Content, ProntoForms, and Intelex.
- Manage integrations with third-party systems, cloud platforms, and legacy applications.
- Design and implement scalable, reusable solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize enterprise applications for high performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, applying updates, patches, and security measures.
Qualifications include:
- B.S. in IT, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or a related technology field required.
- 10+ years of hands-on Oracle ERP enterprise project implementation experience.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion, Sales Cloud, middleware, OBIEE, Power BI, and ETL processes.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), web services (SOAP/REST), APIs, and automation.
- Technical proficiency in Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, XML, PL/SQL, APEX, and web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Proven ability to customize and integrate Oracle CPQ, Sales Cloud, and third-party applications.
- HubSpot experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills, with experience mentoring teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Excel, and the MS Office Suite.
- Experience in IT audits, compliance, security, and risk management.
