The Opportunity

This is a high-impact role responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of our customers' software systems, coordinating complex infrastructure projects, and implementing high-level software solutions.

You will be the architect behind the technology that powers small- and medium-sized businesses (10–250 employees), ensuring they stay modern, secure, and efficient through:

What You’ll Do

  • Design & Implement: Engineer and deploy system solutions tailored to client needs, focusing on Windows Servers, Microsoft technologies, and virtual environments.
  • Network Excellence: Provide technical services at the network level, including WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
  • Project Leadership: Work through project tickets and phases in ConnectWise, ensuring complex implementations are completed on time and within budget.
  • Strategic Consulting: Perform system reviews and provide documentation/recommendations to help clients align IT with their business goals.
  • Client Communication: Maintain high-touch communication with customers, keeping them informed of project progress and impending changes.
  • Operational Discipline: Ensure all time and expenses are recorded accurately in ConnectWise daily to maintain project transparency.

What You Bring

  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of IT experience, preferably with a BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of Microsoft’s core business applications, VMware, and remote access solutions (VPN, Terminal Services).
  • Certifications: Professional IT Certifications such as SonicWall CSSA, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, or Microsoft Modern Workspace.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, active listening, and the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical CEOs and CFOs.
  • Mindset: Self-motivated, adaptable to fast-paced changes, and a relentless focus on customer satisfaction.

Performance Expectations & KPIs

  • Utilization: Maintain an 85% billable ratio.
  • Client Satisfaction: Maintain a >95% satisfaction rate in CSAT.
  • SLA Compliance: Stay within 80% or better SLA status.
  • Project Efficiency: Maintain a +/- 20% efficiency rating on project budgets and completion timelines.
  • Administrative Accuracy: 40 hours recorded weekly, with daily entries completed by 9:00 AM the following morning.
