Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Coral Springs, Florida
Environment: 5 days a week ONSITE
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Pay: $49-$52/hour W2

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
DevOps Engineer is responsible for ensuring efficient CI/CD processes and providing hands-on technical support throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires a strong mix of automation, infrastructure, and development experience—supporting deployments, improving pipelines, and contributing to Java-based applications.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 5–8 years of DevOps and Java development experience
- Git, Jira, Confluence
- Self lead and independent, ability to work in a heads down technical support role
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative personality
- Alignment with core team values, including integrity, ownership, and mutual respect
- Skilled in Spring Boot, Java 8, REST APIs, and microservices development
- Familiar with JMS, Kafka, relational databases, and SQL

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, Maven, and Artifactory
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps into the SDLC
- Monitor and resolve build and deployment issues; ensure availability and performance of production systems
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and proactively communicate risks and status to leadership
