Job Title: Informatica IDMC CDI Migration Lead

Total Exp: 12+ years

Relevant Exp: 6+ years

The Migration Lead for Information CDI-PC to IDMC CDI Migration will be responsible for analysis, designing, and executing the migration of workflows from CDI-PC to CDI (Cloud Data Integration). This role requires hands on, strong technical expertise in CDI-PC, SAP integration, and workflow design, along with leadership skills to work with cross-functional teams. This role will be crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based data integration solutions. The candidate expected to have done a Minimum 2 full-cycle projects of Migration from Informatica CDI/CDI-PC to IDMC CDI.

Responsibilities:

Lead end‑to‑end design and development of data integration workflows using Informatica IDMC - Cloud Data Integration (CDI), including mappings, task flows, transformations, and orchestration.
Drive the PowerCenter to CDI migration tasks-assessment, refactoring, redevelopment, and performance optimization.
Hands on experience of PC2Cloud conversion service and perform the assessment, conversion of PowerCenter objects.
Create and maintain technical documentation (mapping specs, design docs, migration notes, transformation logic).
Lead end‑to‑end design and development of data integration workflows.
Ensure the AS-IS business logic is implemented in IDMC environment during CDI-PC migration.
Validate, document data integrity, performance benchmarks, and error handling of the current CDI-PC and migrated IDMC platform assets.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex mapping, connectivity, and integration issues in the IDMC environment.
Collaborate with architects, BA/SMEs, QA teams, and cloud/platform engineers to finalize design and ensure environment readiness.
Experience in migrating and resolution of migration issues during the CI/CD deployment process.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide technical direction to junior developers where required.

Required Skills:

15+ years of overall experience in Informatica Cloud and on-prem services.
6+ years of hands‑on experience in Informatica CDI-PC migration, development to IDMC platform.
Strong working knowledge of PowerCenter to CDI migration (refactoring mappings, redesigning workflows, parameterization).
Solid proficiency in ETL/ELT concepts, data‑warehousing principles, and SQL across RDBMS platforms.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and application‑integration patterns.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for connectivity and integration.
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to debug performance issues in IDMC pipelines.
Excellent communication and collaborative abilities to work with multi‑functional teams
Exposure to Agile tools (Jira, Confluence) and CI/CD concepts is preferred.
