Overview
IWI US Inc., located in Middletown, PA is seeking a skilled and dedicated Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role requires a strong understanding of systems engineering, virtualization, and database management. This role will begin as a remote position for the first few months while the new location in Andersonville, TN is completed. Candidates must have strong attendance, be a self starter, have a willingness to learn and a positive attitude. Responsibilities
- Provide IT Support to users as a technician or System Administrator
- Maintain and support Windows Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Experience with printer pooling in Windows environments.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers and network infrastructure. (Windows platform)
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions promptly.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to support IT projects and initiatives
Requirements .
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a systems administrator
- BA in computer/ Information Technology, or a related field is a plus
- Experience with Windows Active Directory and Group Policy
- Understanding of Terminal Server (TS) session management
- Familiarity with barcode printer technologies, especially Zebra printers
- Familiarity with network protocols.
- Strong knowledge of DHCP, load balancing, system design, virtualization, and systems engineering.
- Familiarity with network protocols and security practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
- A proactive approach to learning new technologies and best practices in the field
