Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with the world’s leading innovator and manufacturer of technology for the recycling and waste industry. We are looking for 1st shift MIG Welders to start ASAP! This is a full time 1st shift role located in York, SC.

Shift: 5:30am - 4pm Mon - Thu (some overtime worked on Fridays)
Pay: $19/hr - $22/hr BOE
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable MIG Welder to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on MIG welding and fabricating a variety of carbon steel components with precision and quality. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints, work independently or in a team, and meet production and safety standards. You will need to pass a welding test.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform high-quality MIG welding on various thicknesses of carbon steel
  
• 
  Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders
  
• 
  Set up and adjust MIG welding and cutting equipment
  
• 
  Use hand and power tools, including grinders, drills, and sanders
  
• 
  Report all non-conforming materials immediately
  
• 
  Maintain welding equipment in excellent and safe working condition
  
• 
  Complete required job paperwork and documentation
  
• 
  Follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail
  
• 
  Meet established production goals and deadlines
  
• 
  Support and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  
• 
  Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Proven work experience or schooling as a MIG welder (carbon steel)
  
• 
  You will need to pass a welding test
  
• 
  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  
• 
  Proficient in reading blueprints and using a tape measure
  
• 
  Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  
• 
  Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
  
• 
  Willingness to work overtime as needed
  

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• 
  Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and welding fumes
  
• 
  Requires standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, and lifting throughout the shift
  
• 
  Moderate noise level in a manufacturing setting
  
• 
  Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required
