Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network & Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex network infrastructures while providing expert support for server environments. Networking excellence is central to this role—architecting resilient topologies, troubleshooting critical issues, and driving standardization—while leveraging strong server and cloud skills to ensure seamless integration across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable L2/L3 network architectures (routing, VLAN segmentation, SD-WAN, HA)
• Deploy and harden firewalls, VPNs, wireless controllers/APs
• Standardize configurations and rollout templates for repeatable deployments
• Troubleshoot complex network issues using packet analysis and telemetry tools
• Manage and support Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
• Administer virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Design, implement, and support servers and services in Azure/AWS environments
• Produce detailed documentation (HLD/LLD diagrams, MOPs, as-built)
• Ensure compliance with frameworks such as HIPAA, CMMC, PCI
• Participate in rotating on-call and planned maintenance windows

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on network engineering experience (design + operations)
• 3–5 years server administration experience
• Deep proficiency with routing (BGP, OSPF), switching (L2/L3), VLANs, QoS
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Exceptional documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite daily in Crestview Hills, KY

Preferred

• Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, MCSA/MCSE, VMware VCP, Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect
• Experience with SD-WAN, NAC/802.1X
• Familiarity with network documentation tools (NetBox, Visio/Lucidchart)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
