This position requires the successful candidate to live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The Jr. Web Developer collaborates with the the Web Development Manager to develop, test, launch, maintain and update WordPress sites for clients across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will stay ahead of emerging technologies and changing trends in web development and apply that knowledge to their work. Candidates should have good working experience with WordPress with thorough knowledge of HTML and CSS. Winning candidates will be those who have a passion for creating great work that achieves client goals with the ability to work quickly, efficiently and under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Refine, edit, proof and optimize web content.
• Work proficiently in WordPress
• Work cross-functionally with the team to enhance overall user experience of sites.
• Own the web development life cycle from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Must live within daily commuting distance to Biloxi, Mississippi
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
• At least 1 - 2 years experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in at least one server-side technology (Java, PHP, NodeJS, Python, Ruby)
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• WordPress experience a plus.
• Good organizational skills and ability to balance multiple projects
• Experience with Elementor a plus
• Experience working quickly, efficiently and under deadlines
