Part-Time Junior Developer (Contract / 1099)

5–10 hours/week – Remote – Flexible hours – $25–$40/hr

Build and support a simple therapist productivity platform (Python-based)

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented junior developer to help maintain and deploy a
lightweight internal platform for a pediatric therapy clinic.
You’ll be working with an already-written Python-based backend for a simple therapist-
facing productivity app — not a large SaaS product, but a practical internal tool.

The platform is actively being built by a lead AI assistant (yes, AI writes the code!) — your job is to help deploy, structure, and lightly maintain that codebase.

This is a great fit for someone early in their career who enjoys seeing real apps come
together. You’ll work directly with a founder and an AI-powered dev assistant to build a
practical tool that helps real therapists.

What You’ll Do:

• Deploy clean Python code into a working app using a copy/paste + CLI setup process

(very straightforward)

• Follow clear step-by-step instructions to structure files, paste modules, and run the app
• Troubleshoot small issues (missing imports, typos, etc.) and escalate anything larger
• Help manage version control, repo structure, and local deployment environment
• Optionally assist with minor enhancements or Python edits (if comfortable)

What We’re Looking For:

• Basic experience with Python
• Comfortable using a code editor (e.g., VS Code) and terminal
• Able to follow structured setup instructions and troubleshoot logically
• Detail-oriented, responsive, and organized
• (Bonus) Familiar with Flask or backend Python apps
• (Bonus) Comfortable using Git/GitHub

Role Details:

**Type**: 1099 independent contractor
**Schedule**: ~5–10 hours per week

**Pay**: $25–$40/hour depending on experience
