The Opportunity
We're looking for a driven, self-starting Business Development Manager to own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and outreach to closing deals and onboarding new clients. This is a commission-only role with a multi-layered compensation structure designed to reward performance and long-term partnership. Our goal is to find someone who wants to build with us, not just sell for us.
What You'll Do
- Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and local business development efforts
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, and signed agreement
- Focus on key verticals including metal fabrication and manufacturing, accounting firms, and law offices
- Educate prospects on the value of managed IT services and position HiveTech as their trusted technology partner
- Collaborate with leadership to develop proposals and tailor solutions to each prospect's environment
- Maintain an organized pipeline and provide regular updates on sales activity and forecasting
- Represent HiveTech at local networking events, trade shows, and business associations as needed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to identify upsell and referral opportunities
Compensation Structure
This is a 100% commission-based role with multiple income streams designed to reward both immediate performance and long-term client retention. Our compensation model is built to grow with you — the more you build, the more you earn.
Who You Are
- Experienced in B2B sales, ideally in IT services, SaaS, or technology solutions
- Comfortable with cold outreach and building relationships from scratch
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own schedule and pipeline independently
- Strong communicator who can translate technical solutions into business value for non-technical decision makers
- Familiar with the Houston-area business landscape — existing relationships in our target verticals are a strong plus
- Understanding of managed IT services, cybersecurity, or cloud solutions is a plus but not required — we'll get you up to speed

Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
