Summary:

Analyzing data from various departments including slots & promotions performance. Interpretation, evaluation of data to generate financial business analysis for Database Marketing campaigns, Casino Promotions, Slot Machine Performance, and other related areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but limited to the following:

*Create and maintain the segmentation of monthly marketing campaigns; provides data analysis for the purpose of gauging the success rate of such campaigns.

*Performs Ad Hoc analysis, reporting, data extraction and visualizations to track profitability, retention, acquisition, and identify opportunities to increase profit.

*Independently identifies appropriate statistical techniques, data and methods that will be used to answer database marketing inquiries and provide business alternatives.

* Uploads free play and promotions in to the Player Tracking system.

*Works with IT department to execute email campaigns to casino customers.

*Investigates and helps solve data quality issues; trains users as needed.

*Analyzes slot data including hold percentages, new & historic product data.

*Works with Slot Operations Manager on product placement.

*Maintains an excellent working knowledge of slot accounting, player tracking, ticket validation, and performance management and data analysis systems. Is responsible for the accurate transposing of various reporting tools.

*Presentation & explanation of findings/information to various levels of management.

* Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

Education/Experience/Qualifications

*Associate degree in business or related field required.

*Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in data analysis for slot operations or related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.

*Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point essential.

*Must have demonstrated ability exercising utmost discretion with confidential information including, but not limited to: confidential information related to customers, as well as company financial data.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

MATHEMATICAL ABILITY

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, OR REGISTRATIONS

· Gaming license issued by the Tribal Gaming Agency & State of Ca (Tribal Key employee.)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Ideal candidate must be able to work various times and weekends if needed and must be able to change shifts on short notice. Candidate must also have reliable transportation to and from work.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; smoke exposure can be experienced.
