Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their career in software development. The successful candidate will work closely with IT staff and contribute to various projects, gaining hands-on experience in application development and web technologies.

Duties

• Develop applications using C#, .NET, and MS SQL for desktop, server and web
• Tests applications to provide high reliability
• Develop reporting solutions using Microsoft SQL Reporting Services.
• Manage development priorities
• Create, edit, and maintain SQL Server databases
• Write and maintain documentation of software functionality, including technical requirements, specifications, and process
• Develop solutions in Azure including PowerApps
• Support the Marketing department with WordPress administration and hosting

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent programming experience considered.
• .Net and MS SQL
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time often under pressure to meet company expectations and deadlines
• HTML, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Microsoft Transact SQL, Azure, and Visual Studio knowledge and experience required
• Proficient in data structures and database concepts
• Version Control systems including Git
• Project Management experience or certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
