Job description
About Quantolyze.ai & Baby Brains™
Quantolyze.ai is pioneering the freight industry with Baby Brains™, an AGI‑powered dispatch platform that scores and routes loads in real time. We’re a lean, venture‑backed team moving at startup speed—delivering enterprise‑grade performance, security, and adaptability.
We’re seeking a hybrid UI/UX Designer & React Developer to craft the interfaces and user experiences that bring Baby Brains™ to life.
What You’ll Do
· Design & Prototype (50%)
· • Lead end‑to‑end UX processes: user research, persona development, customer journey mapping.
· • Create wireframes, clickable prototypes, and high‑fidelity mockups in Figma.
· • Establish and maintain a design system (components, patterns, tokens) aligned with our brand guidelines.
· Front‑end Implementation (50%)
· • Translate Figma designs into production‑ready React components using Tailwind CSS.
· • Build responsive, accessible UIs that interact with our FastAPI back‑end via REST/gRPC.
· • Optimize performance (bundle size, rendering speed) to achieve sub‑100ms render times.
· • Integrate dashboards and real‑time visualizations (charts, heatmaps) for dispatch analytics.
· • Collaborate with QA to write front‑end tests (Jest/React Testing Library) and ensure ≥ 90% coverage.
Must‑Have Qualifications
· • 3+ years as a UI/UX Designer and React Developer (or combined role).
· • Proven track record designing enterprise SaaS or logistics‑focused applications.
· • Mastery of Figma (components, variants, auto‑layout).
· • Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and visual hierarchy.
· • Expert in React (hooks, context, performance optimization).
· • Proficient with Tailwind CSS (or similar utility‑first frameworks).
· • Familiarity with TypeScript in large‑scale codebases.
· • Comfortable in Agile/Scrum teams with two‑week sprints.
· • Excellent communication: writing clear docs, presenting designs, participating in daily stand‑ups.
· • Experience with Git, GitHub workflows, code reviews, and CI pipelines.
Nice‑to‑Have
· • Familiarity with real‑time data visualization libraries (Recharts, D3.js).
· • Basic understanding of FastAPI or other Python back‑end frameworks.
· • Exposure to design tokens and theme management for multi‑tenant applications.
· • Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.x).
What We Offer
· • Competitive salary and equity package.
· • Generous PTO, flexible hours, and full remote support.
· • Health, dental, and vision insurance (US employees).
· • Professional development stipend and conference budget.
· • A small, high‑impact team where your work directly shapes product success.
To Apply
Please submit your resume, a link to your portfolio (Figma or equivalent), and a short code sample (GitHub link) illustrating a React component you built and styled.
