Job Description:
The Dishwasher and Prep Person will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, washing dishes, and assisting with food preparation tasks. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and able to work well in a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized dish area, ensuring dishes are properly sanitized.
• Assist the kitchen team with food preparation, such as chopping vegetables, prepping ingredients, and assembling dishes.
• Ensure proper storage of food items and supplies, following health and safety standards.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, including floors, counters, and equipment.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and organizing inventory as needed.
• Follow all food safety and cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations.
• Taking the food carts to the children's classrooms

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass the Department of Children, Youth and Families criminal background check
• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, excellent attendance and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 25 pounds].
• Must have at least a high school diploma and current Food Handler's Permit.

Pay: $20.97 - $21.00 per hour
