Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our database systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This role requires a strong understanding of database technologies and the ability to implement effective ETL processes. Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain database systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Perform regular database backups and recovery operations.
• Implement ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of databases.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation using Shell Scripting and other scripting languages.
• Monitor database performance metrics and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with development teams to design efficient database schemas.
• Ensure data integrity and security through appropriate access controls.
• Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Experience

• Proficiency in MySQL or similar relational database management systems.
• Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for data integration tasks.
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning techniques for databases.
• Familiarity with high availability solutions for critical database environments.
• Experience in scripting languages, particularly Shell Scripting, to automate tasks.
• Understanding of ETL processes and best practices in data management.
• Previous experience in a similar Database Administrator role is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
