C++ Software Engineer III (POS, Fuel, Retail)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced C++ Software Engineer to develop and maintain point-of-sale (POS) and fuel management systems for retail environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C++ development and experience with containerization technologies in retail or fuel industry applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain C++ applications for POS and fuel management systems
• Implement and optimize retail transaction processing systems
• Work with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate with existing retail systems
• Develop and maintain APIs for system integration
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security
• Participate in code reviews and technical documentation

Required Qualifications:

• 10-12 years of C++ development experience
• Experience with POS systems and retail technology
• Knowledge of fuel management systems (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Understanding of container orchestration and microservices architecture
• Experience with system integration and API development
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
