We are seeking a talented and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong expertise in PostgreSQL and MySQL, with extensive experience supporting cloud-hosted databases, particularly in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Administration: Manage PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, ensuring high availability, backups, migrations, and security.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize queries, database performance, and resolve bottlenecks to ensure efficiency.
• Database Design: Collaborate with teams to design and maintain schemas and stored procedures.
• Disaster Recovery: Implement backup, replication, and failover solutions.
• Upgrades & Patching: Plan and execute database upgrades with minimal downtime.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain database documentation and communicate performance metrics.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Ability to lead PostgreSQL and MySQL technologies within a DBA team.
• Experience with MongoDB and MariaDB is a plus.
• Strong understanding of SDLC practices and collaboration with development teams.
• Experience with disaster recovery and high availability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS database technologies (RDS, Aurora).
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and IMS.
